Notes on Life – No. 24 – Properly Equipped

One of the greatest skills in life is to learn when you need the proper/recommended equipment for a job, or when you can just MacGyver it.

Over the last couple of days I’ve learnt that nothing but a proper yarn needle will do when you are stitching together separate panels of crochet. I’ve done it with a crochet hook all my life so far; trust me needles are easier and quicker.

However, in complete contrast, I’ve been pondering for ages now whether to invest in some waterproof paper so I can make quick notes in the shower. I’ve just always done the best I could leaning out the bath to write on a piece of paper, that nearly always ends up disintegrating slightly.┬áToday inspiration hit; greaseproof paper. It’s not perfect, but it is better than forgetting.

About kabrown4

A quaint life full of teacups searched for inspiration to fuel a writer dreaming of fantasy worlds that are full of friends found only in words. I have been writing for as long as I can remember and over the years I have developed many stories and many characters. This is my blog about the journeys I've been on over the years, and the road I'm still travelling as a writer.
